ParaView
ParaView is the world’s leading open source post-processing visualization engine. It integrates with ADIOS, allowing you to build visualizations to analyze data quickly. With its open, flexible, and intuitive user interface, you can analyze extremely large datasets interactively in 3D or programmatically using ParaView’s batch processing.
VTK-m
The Visualization Toolkit (VTK) is open source software for 3D computer graphics, modeling, image processing, volume rendering, scientific visualization, and 2D plotting. It supports a wide variety of visualization algorithms and advanced modeling techniques, and it takes advantage of both threaded and distributed memory parallel processing for speed and scalability, respectively.
Fides
Fides provides a data model schema that can be used for post hoc, in transit, and in situ visualization. The data model is described in JSON and maps ADIOS Variables to VTK-m DataSets. Combining the capabilities of ADIOS and VTK-m enables scalable visualization while supporting interoperable simulation tools that can be readily integrated into efficient workflows. Fides has also been integrated into VTK, ParaView, and ParaView Catalyst.
OpenPMD
The OpenPMD standard, short for open standard for particle-mesh data files, is not a file format per se. It is a standard for metadata and naming schemes. OpenPMD provides naming and attribute conventions that allow the exchange of particle and mesh-based data from scientific simulations and experiments.
HDF5
HDF5 (Hierarchical Data Format, version 5) is an open-source file format and library for storing and managing data. It is a very versatile format that can be used to store a wide variety of data, including scientific data, medical images, and financial data.
